Golf Course Introduction / 18-Hole Map Page
National Garden Country Club features a professional-level golf garden course, covering an expansive area of 115 hectares, offering wide views and beautiful scenery. The 18-hole course measures 7,014 yards with a par of 72, showcasing the scale and challenge of international tournaments.
Winding yet grand fairway design allows golfers to enjoy a smooth rhythm and expansive shot lines with every swing. In recent years, the course has fully adopted the Champion Dwarf Bermudagrass specified by the international professional tours, replacing the original green grass. Its speed performance rivals that of European and American tour standards, providing more delicate, faster, and purer putting quality.
Whether you are a golfer who loves precise shots or a player seeking a high-level competition experience, all courses nationwide are built to standards close to professional tournament venues, allowing every golfer on the green to enjoy an unprecedented sensory feast and swinging fun.
Fairway Strategy
No.1
This is an almost straight, stepped downhill par four hole. Standing on the white tee, there is only one bunker on the right side at 272 yards. At the same distance, if you aim to the left side of the fairway, the second shot will land on a platform with about 100 yards remaining; for the second shot, it’s better to hit short rather than too long, especially to the left of the green where the embankment must be guarded, making it the most critical forbidden zone on this hole.
No.2
Opposite in direction to the first hole, this is an uphill par four. The fairway slopes from right high to left low. It is recommended to tee off on the right half to achieve a better approach angle to the green. If the tee shot lands on the left side, it’s not a big problem; the second shot has about 100 yards remaining. The green is elevated, so adding about 10 yards to the shot distance can help. Straight shots towards the flag are easier to stop on the green.
No.3
A short par five with a left turn. The tee shot can be aimed towards the left corner, using a straight or slight left curve shot. The second shot is about 230 yards, downhill towards an elevated green. It’s recommended to use a hybrid or 3-wood to land the ball before the green and let it bounce forward, even if it doesn’t land directly on the green, it leaves a good angle for an up-and-down shot, offering a decent chance for a birdie.
No.4
A short par four with a large water hazard on the right. The tee shot should be controlled around 230 yards, aiming for the left side of the fairway to leave a better approach angle to the green. The second shot is about 120 yards. The right side of the green is higher, so when approaching, the ball should be placed on the lower left side for better stability. If the flag is in front, you can go directly for the pin; if behind, then...
No.5
This is a short hole crossing a large water pond, with a flat and elongated green that slopes from back to front, and a water hazard on the front right. The hole usually faces a crosswind; on windy days, you often need to add about 10–15 yards. If there is no wind, hit the original distance, but strategically, it's better to play short rather than over the flagstick.
No.6
A high-risk par four hole with a water hazard about 260 yards left of the fairway. For tee shots, use a long iron or hybrid and aim for the left half of the fairway, stopping just before the water hazard on the platform. The second shot is approximately 170 yards remaining. The green is elevated, and when attacking, you can add about 5-10 yards; just ensure your shot clears the front-left bunker.
No.7
A straight-up-and-down par five hole with a downhill tee shot. The fairway slopes from left to right, with the tee placed on the left side near the middle for a better approach angle. The second shot involves a significant uphill climb, adding about 15 yards to the distance. The green is the largest on the course, measuring 62 yards wide. Approaching the green, placing the ball in front of it is a good strategy. If you can reach the green in three shots, leave about 100 yards for the final approach.
No.8
The tee box is higher than the green, but the landing area is on an uphill slope, making the ball stop more easily after landing. The green is about 37 yards deep, and distance control is crucial for club selection. Once the distance is confirmed, hit the original yardage without extra power; the strategy remains to play short rather than long. Against right-to-left wind, adjust your aim but avoid going beyond the right edge of the green.
No.9
A very wide short par four hole, with the 18th hole fairway on the left, making the actual playable width even larger. You can confidently hit your drive full force, with no out-of-bounds on either side. If your drive exceeds 280 yards, you can reach the platform; the second shot is about 100 yards. The approach to the uphill green allows adding about 10 yards. The green slopes from back to front and is noticeably inclined, so avoid going past the flagstick.
No.10
A slightly dogleg right short par four, not very long but entirely uphill, with bunkers on both sides of the fairway. Use a 3-wood or driver for the tee shot, aiming for the left side of the fairway to curve the shot right. The second shot is within about 100 yards. The green is slightly elevated, but no extra distance is needed for the approach.
No.11
When the flag is on the right side, the right-side bunker is easier to reach strategically. Following the principle of not overshooting, there's no need to increase the distance unless there is a headwind. The strategy is to aim for the wider side of the green first, then use the ball's curve to approach the flag, for example, aiming left and hitting a draw when the flag is on the right.
No.12
The fairway is designed in an S-shape, but from the new professional tee, the strategy leans towards a dogleg left. The tee shot from the white tee is angled at a bunker about 270 yards ahead, with a forest on the right. A drive of about 270 yards can clear the obstacle, leaving approximately 50 yards for a short approach to the green. When facing the flag, use a bump-and-run shot to let the ball roll onto the green naturally; if the flag is at the back, a high shot with about 7 yards of roll is recommended to stop near the pin.
No.13
A short par five, one of the key scoring holes on the back nine. The fairway is split into upper and lower levels, with the higher on the right and lower on the left. Tee shots must be played from the higher right side for a better angle to the green; shots from the lower left are more obstructed by trees. Both sides of the green are sloped, so if you can't reach in two, aim for the right front of the green for an uphill chip. When the flag is on the left, avoid mistakes that could leave the ball on the left side.
No.14
A downhill, three-shot hole, with about 10 yards less distance. The right half of the green is guarded by a bunker, so the tee shot should be a draw into the green. Regardless of whether the flag is on the left or right, aim for the left half of the green, which slopes from left to right, so the ball will roll naturally to the right after landing. If the flag is on the left, you can leave an uphill putt; if on the right, the ball may roll close to the pin.
No.15
Starting from the white tee, the fairway ends about 255 yards ahead, beyond which is a valley separating from the green. Use a hybrid or 3-wood for the tee shot, aiming for the wider landing area on the left side of the fairway, avoiding the front boundary wall to prevent affecting the angle of the second shot. Since the second shot is downhill, you can reduce the distance by about 5 yards. The green slopes from left to right, with the left side out of bounds. The main target for the approach is the right side of the flag.
No.16
A long par five with a steep downhill and very wide fairway, a must-score hole. The left side is out of bounds, with a bunker about 270 yards on the left. Use the downhill to add distance but be careful to avoid going too far left. The second shot is about 195–215 yards, with a downhill approach that can reduce the distance by 5–10 yards. Aim for the right half of the green, as the left and back sides are out of bounds. Play it safe and target the secure area.
No.17
A long par four with a continuous uphill climb. If you tee off from the bottom tee, the distance will be longer and the shot more to the right, making it one of the most difficult holes on the course. Always aim to hit the right half of the fairway from either tee, to get a better angle for the approach. The second shot is about 150–180 yards, with an additional 10–15 yards for the uphill. When approaching the green, avoid going past the flag; keep the ball below the hole for easier putts or chips uphill.
No.18
The 18th is a dogleg right hole. You can choose to aim for the left side of the fairway platform or clear the last bunker on the right, which requires about 254 yards of carry. The second shot is around 120 yards. Bunkers guard both sides of the green. The approach is uphill, with about 10 yards extra for distance. Be sure to avoid going past the flag, as it will leave a fast downhill putt.
