The National Garden Country Club is located in Yuanli Township, Miaoli County, covering 115 hectares. It features 18 holes, a par of 72, and a total length of 7,103 yards. The course is built along the natural terrain, with rolling hills and natural undulations, creating a winding yet spacious layout that offers both challenge and inclusiveness, achieving a perfect balance between visual appeal and strategy with every shot.
International Design, Natural Rhythm
Designed by internationally renowned golf course architect Ronald Fream, adhering to the philosophy of 'working with nature,' the course preserves the original hillside terrain to create a layered, rhythmically flowing layout. The landscape design, personally planned by famous sculptor Yang Yingfeng, reinterprets nature through an artistic perspective, making the course not just a sports venue but a piece of green art that blends environment and aesthetics.
Platinum Greens, the promise of an exceptional feel
After the 2025 renovation, the greens will be planted with high-quality turf, Platinum TE Paspalum. The turf is dense, stable in speed, and finely textured, meeting international professional standards for putting performance. The seventh hole features the largest green area and the longest putting distance on the course, with a wide green surface and subtle slope variations, turning every putt into a test of precision and judgment.

The National Garden Country Club has introduced the global ecological and environmental protection concept of Audubon, collaborating with Audubon International to promote awareness, care, and love for the environment, ensuring a balanced and high-quality habitat for wildlife. The course actively seeks Audubon certification for ecological protection, inheriting environmental education concepts and creating a well-preserved natural golf environment.
Environmental Program
Establishing environmentally beneficial practices, creating natural conservation areas, wildlife-friendly environments, and complete ecological chains; building artificial wetlands, small forests, ponds, and other wildlife habitats; reducing the use of pesticides and fertilizers; playing a vital role in combating global warming; and constructing a well-preserved natural golf environment.
Wildlife and Habitat Management
Centered on wildlife and human coexistence, managing without disrupting wildlife habitats, fostering healthy woodland, grassland, and wetland ecosystems, and implementing various projects to provide food and water sources for wildlife, creating a peaceful coexistence environment.
Water Resource Protection
Dedicated to water recycling, irrigation system use, and water conservation. In addition to protecting grass and soil in the environment, it also aims to maintain good water quality.
Safe and Reduced Use of Chemicals
Implement comprehensive and correct pest management and best management practices to reduce pest problems and minimize chemical use, ensuring the health of humans and wildlife.
Water Quality Management
Maintain good water quality management in ponds, lakes, and wetlands; establish baseline data for water bodies and sources, continue monitoring activities, and take control measures based on results, striving for effective water quality management strategies.
Promotion and Education
Develop long-term environmental management and wildlife conservation plans, actively promote and educate by providing information to customers, even involving them in environmental protection activities and advocating environmental conservation concepts, creating a natural and human-shared ecological environment.

- Practice Greens: Currently, there are three putting greens nationwide. The first is located at the accommodation lodge, the second at the small Pan green beside the parking lot, where short game practice is also available around the Pan green, and the third is beside the tee box on hole 10.
